Bought for £200k in 1987 from Blackpool
Sold for £1.7m in 1988 to Spurs.
In the late '80s that was some profit.

What a cracking player Stewart was, I got all giddy when we signed him and to cap it all off when we signed Imre Varadi I could've kissed Peter Swales right on top of his wig !. What a great front pairing they were, on a par with Parlane and Tolmie. Brilliant just brilliant.MJV2419 said:Salford_Blue said:Paul Stewart for me.
