Most Gutted you've Been About a player leaving

Ian Bishop. Was a tidy player at the time.

Proper footballer....was gutted when Bish went although I understood the reasoning. Kendall did keep us up after all but it wasn't pretty!

Going back a long time but as a kid I was gutted when David Wagstaffe was transferred to Wolves not long after City were relegated in 1963. He was a very talented left winger, so much so that the very left footed Neil Young was played on the right wing when he broke into the first team. 'Waggy' gave Wolves many years of good service too.

Edit: I've just seen on another thread that he died today. RIP Waggy.

Gary Owen and Trevor Francis for me.
by all accounts GO was gutted too!

Paul Stewart top player. SWP when it became clear we wouldn't bring in any decent players with the money. Probably most of all David Rocastle. Showed skill beyond anything we had at the time and kept us up. Gutted when he left.
