Most Overated Player in the world

Over the course of an entire career I would definitely have to say Beckham. People are still clamouring for him to be starting for England, but he's extremely slow, one-footed and looks totally lost without Neville to pass it back to when he gets to an opposing player!

However, Trezeguet definitely gives him a run for his money. At the time he was rated higher than Henry and getting into the France starting XI ahead of him, he was always a disappointment to watch, as he never seemed to do anything. Bit like C. Ronaldo, great at ordinary club level, but whenever the pressure is on or he's against good opposition he disappears off the face of the planet!

Dont you think the term " world class" gets over used how many players can you really say are world class. To me you need to do it for club and country and trinaldo always never fails to fall flat on his arse in the biggest games.....imo

Ibrahimovic is a good candiate, sure he does the odd amazing thing from time to time, but is not even close to be consistent enough and usually goes missing against the better teams. Besides he is an arrogant prick.

Craig Gordon, th worst 'keeper in the prem, yet a shoe in for a possible GB team according to some.

Ferdinand.

Dozy, complacent fucker who relies totally on pace to make up for his total lack of positional sense-and gets Vidic to do the heading and stuff he doesn't like in case he spoils his "good looks."
And cost £30 million quid-nearly seven years ago.

Neville....had he played for anyone except rags,no-one would've batted an eyelid. The absolute definition of "average full back."
Gets a tackle in and Andy Gray thinks starts foaming as if he's watching Beckenbauer.

got to be berbatov. was gutted when we didnt sign him, but that now looks to be the best bit of business we never did.

Agreed. But can you imagine if he was playing for us the way he plays for them?
