Most painful goal in a City game

All been named but one that will always haunt me is away at Notts county in the cup when we lost 1-0. I was only 14/15 and in the shitty little home end but that proper traumatized me that one.

I haven't celebrated a goal or enjoyed a game in the same way since the Sterling goal in the final minutes against Spurs to take us to our first Champions League final.

A very late Scholes header in a derby in the early 2010s.

Was on a weekend away with some good mates on the Norfolk Broads, but unfortunately one of them is a massive red. We watched the game in a pub near where we’d moored the boat in Great Yarmouth - there was us plus a a group of three other “local” United fans we didn’t know.

When the goal went in, all 4 of them jumped up and screamed right in my face in ecstasy. And there was nothing more I could do than sit and take it like a man. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Sticks with me to this day.
