i'm the same mate.
i can't get my head round how there is so much going outside our atmosphere.
it just looks like a dark picture with a few lines and a blue dot to me, not a photo, but its apparently 100% genuine.

Hasn't that bottom one been debated as an optical illusion? In what the angle the camera was at, and what it actually misses out underneath, gives a false impression?
