1926 City 1st team at Wembley to get relegated
1933 1st time numbered shirts were worn
1934 1st team to get to Wembley twice in 2 yrs
1955 1st foreigner to play at Wembley?
1956 Bobby Johnstone 1st player to score twice in successive cup finals,and only time referee had one arm
1969 Not sure,maybe all english side to win it?
1970 1st time all 92 clubs entered League Cup
1974 Not sure,but I know Rodney Marsh was 1st player not to receive his tankard,he was that distraught about losing
1976 1st time a manager had won League Cup as manager and player

Worth adding:

1926 - first Manchester side to play at Wembley (and afterwards the 'papers claimed no other FAC finals would be played there because of its poor pitch, facilities and organisation!).
1955 - first foreigner - not true. Trautmann was the first German in a FAC final, but Newcastle's Chilean Jorge 'George' Robledo appeared before (1951)
1956 - Johnstone was 1st to score in successive Wembley FAC finals (but not in successive FAC finals - that had been done before - including 1878, 1890 and possibly others).
1969 - how about 'launch of decimal 50p piece' - it was used to determine who kicked off and was the official first appearance of the coin.
1974 - Marsh claims in one of his books that he collected his medal & threw it into the crowd - but it was a tankard as you say.

None. But my dad went in '69, '70 and '76 - no idea why he didn't go in '74, and he moved down under in 1980 so obviously couldn't go the following year. I thought of him as a bad luck charm until he was also absent from our '99 victory!

My grandad has also been, in '56 for the Trautmann final.
