The women that came to see me was from ATOS as was the letter they sent me,she admits there were horror stories but they have new contracts now whatever that means. They don't employ drs now, the assessments are done by nurses, social workers etc,she was an ex paramedic then some suit does the points allocating from their notes and make the decision as to who gets what.I am so stressed i can't tell you
Same here in SussexI must admit I thought ATOS had gone.....but unless Maximus is using ATOS headed paper they are still carrying out their sick and disabled cleansing here in South Cheshire.

Thank you Karen we can only wish all well who have to go through this and hope that somehow more of the fortunate folk out there get to see the real truth about what is happening. Most I think would be shocked to the core were that truth presented to them.
I go off no self knowledge of this and just reports mate so i may be wrong.
Both in the same business though of denying benefits and gaining financially by doing so.
As someone lucky to be in reasonably good health high blood pressure aside with a fit and healthy family, i wish you all the very best.
Just a guess but I suspect you are right and wrong in so much as ATOS maybe working a contact before being replaced...either way it is telling that the government see fit to employ the services of a company tasked with solely looking after the financial interests of the government rather than the health and well being interests of the individual claimant....and offering financial incentive for reducing the number of claimants.....even the most ardent Tory surely cannot deny that this is no basis upon which fair conclusions will be reached.
That is why you don't understand then,i get it now
That is why you don't understand then,i get it now
Hence my stance that this is not a fair and fully thought out policy that will identify and stop a small amount of fraudulant claims, its a cruel ideology led attack on those less fortunate in society and most in need that not only hurts, it makes a select few in business incredibly rich off the back of such cruelty.
Britian in 2016 and it fucking disgusts me.
Well said mate.
for those who say this government has not got a clue............ surely you must see it has been a roaring success.
Inheritance tax abolished on property up to £1,000,000
ATOS meeting it's newly defined targets i.e. if you can get here you can work
Corporation tax reduced again
The BEDROOM TAX
The property boom
Benefits for the in-work poor slashed
Those militant junior doctors brought to heel
The NHS holed below the water-line, wont be around much longer
Civil service slashed and slashed again, armed forces, police, fire brigade nurses and other fripperies among the casualties
Teachers leaving faster than can be recruited, more money saved
The top men at the banks responsible for the crash are now safely ensconced as top dogs in the new "challenger" banks set up to try and prevent another crash (i'm not making it up)
multinationals who decide how much tax to pay.
Zero-hour contracts
Unfair dismissal claims that now cost hundreds to bring to court, effectively reducing court time as you could lose more than you win, even if you win the case.
For me that is a victory for thatcherism by a government that is playing a blinder...........if you are a thatcherite of course.
@purplenose How did it go?They aint gone mate.....my partner has her encounter with them this Wednesday at 2.30pm
I have news
I had my PIPS assessment a couple of weeks ago at home
The letter arrived this morning,i circled it for an hour before i dared open it
I have been awarded the enhanced rate for mobility and also for care needs
Phew x 100
The money is much the same as i was already getting so i don't have to worry about that now
Anyone else having or had the assessments and decision?
Thank you mark xGreat news Karen - really pleased for you.
