MOTD hansen/shearer comments

So glad that i was at the game, otherwise if i had to rely on motd i would of thought chelsea had all the game and we scored on our one breakaway . The whole team were great , tackling was fantastic by all players, a proper team effort, well done city now keep it going.

Yep, described it as a non event football wise, 2 italian managers and dull. Clearly doesnt understand possession football and 2 top teams cancelling each other out.

Thought it was a brilliant game myself

I would agree that I thought it was an enthralling game, but for the neutral that is looking to see goalmouth scrambles, shots at goal and chances created it would have been somewhat dull a game, and if it had been any side other than City, I would probably have been bored.
It was a war of attrition, and it was always likely to be so, two tactically astute managers with two well drilled and well organised defences meant that the free flowing open attractive football that most love to enjoy was never likely to be on show, but yesterday the result was all important, and we set up in a manner to stop chelsea playing the open game they are capable of, they in turn treated us with the utmost respect and had men behind the ball every time they lost posession, except once :-)

wtf have neutrals got to do with owt ?? as long as we city fans are happy..screw the rest.

Were chelsea that great great on the eye under Mourinho ??

Lol, even my missus was shouting that at the telly when they were giving their 'analysis'

Shouldn't that be analisis - as in the disease where sufferers lose the ability to talk from their mouth and instead use another orifice.

I remember on the first day against Spurs, Hansen said we 'looked miles off the Champions League'. Today he said 'they could be a force.' Make of that what you will.

Having said that, credit to Hansen for highlighting Vinny's performance because a lot of pundits seem to forget him.

Lineker, Hansen, Shearer, Lawrensons etc. post match analysis means nothing at all to me. Anyone with a decent knowledge of football can sit there and pass judgement on a managers decision or teams performance five hours after the final whistle.

These clowns sit there and tell us how things should have been done - after the event! If they are so good and know all the answers why don't they put it into practice and go manage a club. Not a chance - just like Andy Gray, they can sit there and give us their expert opinion knowing that their ideas will not be put into action and shown to be a load of cobblers. Shearer had a bit of a go and look what happened there. He soon went crawling back to his comfy sofa.

When they've ben there, done that I might start to take them seriously - until then I'm quite happy to watch MOTD in the pub where I can't hear them as the band is too loud.

The comment about neutrals was in reply to a comment made by Hansen, and I agree that we shouldnt worry about what others think, I also agree that Chelsea under Moaninho were awful to watch, which is why I have remained adamant that I want the arrogant tosser nowhere near MCFC.

MOTD really pissed me off last night.

Twice the Geordie "Messiah" referred to David Silva as David Villa. Can you imagine if Silva played for one of the Favourite Four- would he have attempted, and got away with that "mistake"?

Also what qualifies him to pollute my ears with his so-called expert analysis. His two-month managerial career has thus far ended in relegation.

Also that bitter Sweaty-cum-scouse Hansen saying our match as a spectacle was a non-event, yet 15 mins later West Ham's 1-0 victory over Spuds was a brilliant spectacle for the neutral.

I only saw that 10 mins highlights of West Ham v Spuds and it looked OK, but something tells me Shamsen based the 10 mins highlights of our game as a "non-event". If he'd have watched the whole game, or if Chelski had won 1-0, I very much doubt he'd have come out with that shit.

Finally, after years of being the last game, 30 second piddly highlights and being generally overlooked, I'm sick and tired of MOTD, their failed pundits and lazy analysis.

Rant over.
