"So, you were here during Kerensky's provisional government's struggle to balance the Bolshevik's demands for reform and the military debacle, precipitating economic and social collapse - what was that like, then?"

Ha a while since my days of Kornilov and Brusilov

Well Brian , it's not as if it's going to upset the socio/economic status quo of the nation or anyfink innit?
We'll take each revolution as it comes and , er , all credit to the proletarian masses Brian , innit?!?!

"So who out of Rodriguez or Lambert would you take?"

"Lambert" - Shearer

"I'd take Andy Carroll" - Savage

I'd take Lambert and Rodriguez and leave Welbeck at home.
Me too.

There are at least 4 strikers that ought to be in front of Danny wellshit, after wooney and sturridge. Team England is still a joke.

Shamefully low-brow programme. Shearer is probably clinically semi-retarded. Savage is just thick as f*ck and entirely irrelevant. Why are there no media professionals in this show?

I remember Lord Reith's idea...
You mean like the media professional wankers Sky use on Sunday Supplement?

The media wankers as you rightly call them are journalists and are just as amateurish as the pundits on MOTD.

The minute ex-England players or internationals start talking about England players all reason, if any existed, goes out of the window. I turned to my wife and said name me an England player who would walk into any of the top five international teams. She said Rooney. I said he might make someone's bench. Total delusion when it comes to the current England squad.

Setting aside the perceived bias and the fascination with ex Liverpool players as pundits(Fowler, Murphy, Hansen, Lawrenson etc) - is it me or does anyone find the format and cheesy presentation dull and boring. It's like a cross between Blue Peter and TOTPs - boring as f***. Needs a total make over and bringing forward to 10:00 pm.

I don't know why I watch MOTD. I always get pissed off with the analysis of our games. Even when they try to praise us.
Says more about you than it does about them.

That's a helpful response.

Errr... I've changed my mind.

It's not helpful. Nor is it amusing. But it says everything about you that I need to know.
I seriously don't think it does...

MOTD is the most widely watched and respected football show

If City get criticised on there it matters. They might be wrong, but what gets said on there sets the agenda and also influences the FA Disciplinary Committee. How Shearer and co analyse an incident very much influences whether the FA Disciplinary Committee will review an incident and what the outcome will be

If that's the case and we have seen it happen(yaya) then you might as well stick 3 monkeys on there.3 ex managers shoud be on the show offering their opinion.at least they had the balls to try and manage and to have that added pressure.
