Off topic slightly but I stumbled across some short programme the other day, that involved Lineker rummaging through all his old football shirts.

Anyway, the point of interest, to me at least, was he revealed that he nearly joined United after leaving Barcelona and ending up at Tottenham.

Never heard that before.

Pretty much everyone who dislikes him, does so because he’s too ‘woke’.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard anybody try claiming that he isn’t an extremely accomplished broadcaster.
