Motorbikes

I believe the OP was asking about 125's.

I've ridden most around, don't bother with the sports 125 efforts. Overpriced due to all the plastic.

For just knocking around the ybr I found the best. They're all much of a muchness tbf but that one seemed right for the price.

That or a second hand cg 125 (Honda), will run pretty much forever, cheap too.

might sound obvious but only go fast when it's safe to do so (e.g. never in town) and work on the basis that every driver on the road is a total **** and will pull out in front of you even if they are looking directly at you. 99.99% won't of course but....

He was indeed.

It does read like you are young fella after your first bike, in which case pick up the biggest one you can, which in my opinion would be:

Its a Honda Varadero 125, and whilst expensive to start with, you get a lot of bike for your buck and they hold their value too.

If you are older, get the cheapest one you can, like a CG125, cos after you pass your test you will want rid of it pretty quickly to get yourself something bigger!

I have a Suzuki 750 Intruder, agree with woodhouse, don't bother with a 125, you'll soon want something bigger. I started off with a Honda 550 nighthawk, that didn't last long. My next bike will be a Harley.

What dont you want to go round corners or stop! they are a joke
I would rather not have a bike than ride a Harley.

What do you ride?

First bike was a KH100, good enough for 70mph, cheap as chips for insurance, those extra 25 cc would double the premiums. Moved on to 250 & 400 superdreams and then spent about 10 years on Deauvilles until the only safe place to garage the bike (rented lockups) were redeveloped, so I sold up.
Winter riding's not so bad, but IMO what you wear is more important than what you ride. You may look a twat riding a C90 wearing a full rukka RVP suit, but if you ever come off the bike, you'll be glad you were wearing it.
