Yeah, there's no way she used that phrase by accident. It was downright deliberate. I actually agreed with her on some of the stuff she said about the McCanns a while back and she articulated her points quite well but what she said earlier in the week was unforgivable.
 
I don't give a toss whether Hopkins has been fired, and I am not into politics as such, however, what I have observed, reading this and other threads is, those who post anything like right wing views are met with hostility. "Daily Mail Reading Tory" Racist, homophobic et al seems to me those that preach tolerance, should start practising what they preach, any comment Prestwich Blue, who seems to get most hostile with anything that goes near opposing his views, although the sword over Damocles head should surely have fallen by now :-)

I don't see most of the media trying to say everything is harmonious, far from it, scare stories sell news.
Were you around in the 70's? far more bomb scares then than now. Which is not to say that the threat from terrorism is not very real.
