Can people not see what the club are trying to do,......
Mancini was a manager who although he wins things the success is short lived, much like Mourinho.
Give either of them 100 million or more to spend each season and they will keep buying the best players available for success. This isn't sustainable.
If they don't get the money then they have a ready made excuse for not attaining success.
Chelsea wouldn't use their youth players, and City's academy isn't producing players good enough for the where the club wants to be. Neither of these two managers are remotely interested in academy's.
We now have a club which has won trophies, we can attract good players and can compete in Europe and domestically. A manager will come in to coach the players and improve the whole squad. If it works, then we know we have just about the strongest squad in the league on paper. We shouldn't be scared of a managerial change. We have had plenty in the past, and most lasted less than 3.5 years. We will still be around the top of the league, and in the cups. We are in a far better place than we were 7-8 years ago.
The decision has been made, and we should look forward. Mancini was good for the club and last season was something special for any supporter under 45, (and most over this age too !)
It least it isn't Moyes in charge, and we have some cash in the bank too !
