Mourinho all day long for me but i fear he is Chelsea bound.

Me too, but if we are going "holistic" it can't be Jose.

Agreed.

Pellegrini it is, a coach rather than a figurehead manager, a man willing to work within a defined structure, especially on transfers and a man who will fully integrate the first team squad with the academy.

Pep is the real future and i think he will be a safe pair of hands until then.

Won't happen ......

Jose reckons that only Chelsea 'love him' in this country.
And he'd be right. The guy's a total cünt.

IMHO now that the trigger has been pulled they should go and get Mourinho. He knows the league and his record is 2nd to none.

Unfortunately I think he's off to Chelsea and he doesn't fit the model the spaniards want to implement.

Pellegrini is a gamble regardless of the positive reports that are coming out. He might take 12 months to settle and it could be too late by then. The bar has been set now.

Just posted this elsewhere

Published today by Balague in AS

The City met last week with an affiliate of Rafa Benitez, but, according to the Sunday Times, a call from a manager of Barcelona accelerated Pellegrini representative agreement with Chile.

What bar? Mancini was given 4 years and he didn't even qualify for the CL in his first year. No matter how the press like to portray us, our owners are anything but trigger happy.

On the clubs website, seems relatively clear to me what the new managers targets will be

"Despite everyone's best efforts, the Club has failed to achieve any of its stated targets this year, with the exception of qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League"

Bayern Munich: Jupp Heynckes Still Undecided on Decision to Retire

By Callum Mackenzie (Featured Columnist) on May 2, 2013

Indeed, one motive would be to move to another European titan; reports that Heynckes' decision to leave Bayern at the season's end was not entirely voluntary might suggest vengeance could be on his mind.

Make him an offer he can't refuse! :D

Jesus christ - Gollum is a bloody gamble !!!!!!

As for mourinho lets actually think about it, ok his track record in the PL speaks for itself, but it is never easier the 2nd time around.

And for all his past wins Txiki seemed to be right about why not to hire him at Barca - he has totally alienated the the majority of the playing squad at Real over stupid arguements, alienated the fans and again always wants to spend vast sums of money to achieve success.

Would he fit into the way in which our club is going in terms of direction - I don't think so.

Wish people would give up on Mourinho, with the leaders we have at the club now the chances of him coming in are nil. Soriano is the man who wouldn’t hire Jose Mourinho for Barcelona because of his barbed press conference gibes about his own club. “He generated media conflict almost permanently and it was a potential source of conflict within the club,” Soriano has said of Mourinho.
