Mourinho did us a big favour

I thought Pellegrini got it spot on when he said there's no such thing as mind games. He said Jose spouting nonsense because if they win the League it's all down to him and his "mind games".

But if he loses the League then it's not on him because we're the favorites and he's got a young squad in transition even though only Hazard and Oscar are young both though have loads of experience.

Out of the big four We're the only team managed by someone who's never managed in this League before but you don't hear Pellegrini mention it because he's not looking for excuses. The Spanish and Italian journos saw right through Jose but journos here lap up his nonsense without questioning his ridiculous claims.

Pretty much this, especially the bolded part.

I happen to think MP has handled Mourinho's comments very well. In-fact Mourinho's latest nonsensical ramblings were quite pathetic and had it been someone like Rafa, the press would have torn him apart.

The subtext from MP has read that he had to pipe up because what was being said was a load of old arse and that he'll no longer comment on JM as he is clearly a juvenile fool.

The beauty of the internet mate, faceless individuals who can more often than not speak there true feelings without reprisal, what a fantastic world we live in (: - dysfunctional? maybe, entertaining? Absolutely, even chipfat plays his role like a 13 year old tony danza, I think I have a crush.....

Damo proves yet again how sharp he is, I throw a layup that Reggie milliner would be proud of and he Larry birds me )8
What does it say about me that I'm polite even on the internet? Am I a serial killer waiting to happen or just a southern pussy?

In all honesty Cast, I'm more imbalanced than my patients, when it comes to city people find my kryptonite, no hard feelings mate

Southern twat (:

Very disappointed by some of the reaction to my post on the first page of this thread. As a part-time poster on here i was somewhat taken aback at the replies, not to mention the personal insults directed my way for a post which was merely suggesting that a) Mourinho's very good at mind games (something which for my money is beyond doubt), and b) that we've benefitted from more than our fair share of decisions this season (again, something which is pretty hard to dispute).

I find it quite unfortunate that attitudes amongst our supporters have changed so much that any sort of vaguely non chest-beating opinion is pounced upon and its author's authenticity and character brought into question. That post was my eleventh of the season. We used to be known for our humility us Blues, y'know.

I think a lot of the replies were from hard-bitten, long-standing Blues. You might need to look to the quality of your argument rather than blaming a changing fan base.

Or develop a thicker skin. It's Bluemoon, not mumsnet.

Had you said that same thing about managers in the past you would have got the same response.

You're post wasn't a vaguely non chest beating one, it was a stupid one. That's why you got the response you got, not because "we've changed" (zzzzzzz).

Have we benefitted? I can think of quite a few decisions that were decisive in the early games eg Sunderland and Villa

I don't think what you said about Pellegrini being mentally weak was fair comment. How can you make that assessment?

Sorry that some comments have upset you.
