Yeah, I don't get the thinking behind it at all.
Sure, if a well-loved former blue was showing shitloads of ability and potential as a manager I'd love to give them a chance at City, ala Barca/Guardiola, but if there was a clearly better manager with no blue connection available I'd prefer to get them.
Hiring a mediocre manager just because they played for us? Fuck that.

This is not going to end well for the rags. No way can Solskjaer instill his very different style in matter of months and halfway through a season with players already mourinhoed. In fact, if I were a betting man, Solskjaer would make the aboritions worse.

Used correctly, the attack will win them most games, they won’t be as conservative and Pog is a shoe in for POTS...
