Movie Trivia Thread

In the 1984 comedy sci-fi blockbuster Ghostbusters the role of Peter Venkman was to be played by John Belushi however he died during pre production.

Dan Aykroyd asked his friend Bill Murray if he would take the role. Murray agreed on the condition that he could ad-lib almost all his lines. Aykroyd and Ivan Reitman the director agreed.

In most of the secnes with Murray you can see the actors especially Sigourney Weaver struggling to hold it together with Murray's one liners. According to Aykroyd almost every take with Murray in the secne was different

And, James Cameron is left handed, however Leonardo is right handed so they reversed filmed it, so when you actually see the shot even though it's James Cameron drawing left handed it looks right handed, it's all in the details..
Speaking of Di Caprio and hands, i read that in Django, when he flips out at the dinner scene and smashes his hand on the glass (Mr Candy) that that was a real cut.. Good job Tarantino didn't yell CUT!
Might be nonsense of course

Cheyenne Autumn

The actors playing the Cheyenne were from the Navajo Tribe. They took advantage of the white man not having a fucking clue what they were saying. They were using sexual innuendo and also poking fun at the size of other actors dicks!

The Graduate featured Mrs Robinson (Anne Bancroft) playing a mid 40's married woman seducing a 21 year old young male (Dustin Hoffman).
In real life there was only 7 years separating the actors. Bancroft was 35 and Hoffman 28

Also the Poster for the film / Video / DVD has Mrs Robinson putting on a pair of tights with Hoffman watching on.
The leg in the picture was not Bancroft's leg but that of Linda Grey - later to be Sue Ellen Ewing in Dallas.

The line "Play it again, Sam" is one of the most widely quoted lines from Casablanca — but it never appears in the film.

In "The Ten Commandments" Charlton Heston's son played the infant Moses.
