I must admit that Skipton, Harrogate and Malvern seem to be the areas that appeal the most. Not sure about schooling options there but they seem to tick most of the other boxes. Norfolk and Lincolnshire could also be options.

What's wrong with Manchester? I honestly think its the best city to live in in the uk.

I'm not really looking to live in a city. I prefer village life but within 10-20 miles of a city.
