More like a sleepless night puking up. Some sort of mild food poisoning, says my GP. If this was mild, I wouldn't like severe, thank you very much!

I've had that once, food poisoning that is. I quickly retracted my atheistic beleifs in the middle of a 12 hour puking session, praying to God that I'd be a better person if he'd just make it stop!
On the plus side, perhaps you shed a few pounds and are entitled to a nice fry and a few jars this weekend if you feel up to it.
No; I'm not overweight, just "big-boned"! The big fry-ups I can take or leave (although I love a toasted bacon sarnie!), and I drink fuck all!

Always thought this was Hughes level. Strachan, Souness, O'Neill, Walter Smith, McLeish have all done very well up there.

And no I don´t think O'Neill is the great manager that the english media seem to think he is.

Wouldn't want him at City.

Mate would have to disagree, O'Neill is a quality Manager look at his history? Very good indeed.

Agreed; silly comment to say O'Neill isn't a good manager. He has done well wherever he has been (Wycombe, Leicester, Celtic, Villa).

Look carefully. I didn't say he was no good. I said he wasn't a great manager.

If they get rid after one 4-0 defeat then they'll love it in the prem..

4-0 defeats will be a regular occurance.

I doubt Hughes will go there i think he will hold out for a prem job in the summer.

I think Immaculate Pasta was dropping hints about Hughes ending up there on a thread earlier this morning

So i've been told.

Do you actually have some inside info or were you just speculating?

Would it be worth putting some money on it like

Celtic should go for any of these managers and would have a great chance of getting them straight away or at the end of the season. Mick McCarthy done a great job at Wolves and during his time with Ireland and has played for Celtic odds of 40/1 is great for him. Curbishley he is waiting to take a club has done great at the clubs he managed in the past and since he left them they have been on a slippy slope. George Burley former Scotland manager done a decent job at Hearts and then got pissed on by the chairman. David O Leary is sweet with the Irish connection at the club and will be itching to get back into management again and Celtic could well be the club to give him a break back into football. All the above would jump at the chance to be Celtic boss the other bigger names mentioned wont want to manage a SPL team and will wait for a bigger team.

I think it might be a pretty good fit, I mean look at Mowbray, how much harm has a year in Scotland done for him. I'm sure a Bristol City, Hull maybe even Newcastle would look at him. Hughes was widely thought of as one of the top young Britich managers, even if things go pear shaped he is unlikely to finish below 2nd and maybe a borderline top 4 side would pick him up at some later date(Spurs, Villa, Everton). Waiting for, say the West Ham job or even worse the Newcastle job might screw his myth as a top manager pretty quickly(as it did Fat Sam, Alan Curbishley).
