LOL it makes me laugh. We sack an inept british manager and we're ruining it for all budding british managers. We sign a competent foreign midfielder and we're ruining it for all british prospects

Its a 6 month deal he will be gone in the summer. Hes here to cover injuries supsensions, Hughes left us with a very unbalanced squad we have no cover or depth in defence and when the likes of De Jong and Zabeleta pick up the usual suspensions and injuries we have no cover defensive midfield either.
A 6 month deal I am very happy with, I just didnt want him being offered any longer as he really is comming to the end of his career. Its 6 months with an option for another 12 if hes like he was briliant he stays if not well its 6 months of crazy money, be valuable experience, hes not played many games over the last year or so should be capable of offering so much needed cover or option of playing 2 defensive players against the big sides away.
