When he said he’s ignored all advice to apologise & have a solicitor I pissed myself cos it’s gonna cone back to haunt him.

Typica aggressive shop steward type, got himself to a position within the union not by skill and ability but by belligerence. Without trying ro stereotype people, I am not surprised by his accent.

Yes but in true Horizon scandal style they are being economical with the truth at best and lying at worst.
Thompson left the NFSP in 2015 but they continued to side with POL after this. In fact the current CEO (Callum Green who wrote the statement you shared) was CEO in 2019 when the common issues trial started and the NFSP sat on the side of POL during the trial!!!! It was only after Justice Fraser delivered his verdict that the NFSP finally said Horizon might not be all that! So as odious as Thompson is the people that came after are no better.

If it’s funded by the Post Office it’s not a union but part of their HR department.
