Mr Bates vs the Post Office

This guy McCormack doesn't pull any punches when sending Vennells emails, he's even telling her that her team about her are inept and rather than investigating they draw their own conclusions from the manor of his emails ( which are frank and direct) not to do anything. It just shows how these individuals with powers were totally dismissively of anyone else.!

His “can you see the problem with you saying your team didn’t know when you’ve CCd them all into that email” was a lovely end to that section.
 
Lucky bitch or planned. /Conspiracy alert : She starts giving evidence, its weak, she is weak. It touches on govn ministers being involved.. Meanwhile this morning, Rishi decides to run an election, calls back ministers on foriegn trips, so obviously a decision made today!

Its bollocks though because I think Rishi hinted at a summer election a month ago.

I really hope they dont lose the traction this has now though.

Absolutely. She didn't give one fuck about anyone who's lives she ruined even though she knew they were as good as innocent. She just carried on pocketing the bonuses and living her best life without one shred of pity for them or their families. She never in a million years thought she'd be caught out and exposed. Jail time is the only justice here.

They won't. After the Herald disaster the company were fined but nobody was jailed as far as I can remember. Although the ships were painted in Townsend Thoreson colours they were then owned by P&O.
 
Been following this intermittently and watching now. Despite being shown and talked through what she said in an email, she's trying to deny it or at least trying to put a completely different interpretation on what she said. No credibility whatsoever. God knows what the victims of all this are thinking, just shocking.
