Very difficult for Bellers to honor MH (let's not pretend that the last three wins were all because we have a new coach who looks good in a scarf), and at the same time commit himself to Mancini and the future.

He does better PR than the rest of them because he really believes it. Not just a pro. He is a decent man.

Not sure about the rest of your post but I definitely agree with this.

I'm liking what we've seen so far but I'd agree the last three wins aren't all down to Mancini.

For all the fuck ups Cook made in that press conference, as I recall he too honoured Hughes and committed himself to Mancini and the future.

Keep it up Cooky lad, you're doin a great job!

cook has worked wonders i think without him alot of things wouldnt of happened!

as much as i liked hughes he did treat certain people in the club worse then the staff he brought in. (petrov 1 example)

lifes cruel , shit happens stop going on about it, when mancini wins something people will eat there words.

He might do a good job behind the scenes (dunno because it's errr... behind the scenes) but as a public representative of the club he's an embarrassment.

Fair point--he did both, but Cook's actions beforehand spoke louder. Its not what he did. Its what he didn't do. He never got us, or Hughes, ready for the change. He never said...new rules...one more draw and your gone.

My problem is that we were all told top six is good enough. I bought the idea that we were building something for the longterm--with Hughes an unfinished product as part of the package. I was happy to take the Carling cup this year and the Europa league. Hughes was the young home grown manager who would be given the time to learn how to work at that level... but that proved to be untrue. Now we are all about Champions League Football and success NOW.

Hey if we keep winning like this, I'm not going to regret that decision when I saw Joe Corrigan do something inhumanly brave to support this team. But I miss richard dunne, and I think Mark hughes deserves some credit for the last three wins, and I don't want us to become part of that petulance you see in rag fans where anything but a win is a bad week.
