Mr. Cook, Bellers understands loyalty....you should try it.

I'm sick of the Cook bashing. How many of you calling him actually go to games or, if you do, have met and spoken to him?

Cook runs the club and he does a damn good job. As a match-going fan and one who was very involved with the politics of the club under Wardle and the dire Mackintosh I can see all the things for the better that Cook has brought in.

We actually have a proper team of senior executives, instead of being a amateur-hour, one-man band.
We have a proper HR department to manage the large group of employees, so that we can attract and retain the best. something we never had before when Mackintosh got rid of anyone half-decent.
We have a Supporter Experience Manager, Danny Wilson, who does a fantastic job and one that certainly wasn't done under Wardle or Thaksin. They didn't care two hoots about us.
We now have an indoor ticket office, which may not seem much if you live in the USA but is a boon to those of us who actually go there to buy tickets.

Cook talks to the fans and their representative groups and takes on board what they say. Mackintosh, when he wasn't lying through his teeth (which was most of the time) told people what he thought they wanted to hear, regardless of whether he meant it.

So for those of you who think Cook is an embarrassment and should go - be careful because you may get someone who may be a more polished PR performer but doesn't care about us, the fans.

Very difficult for Bellers to honor MH (let's not pretend that the last three wins were all because we have a new coach who looks good in a scarf), and at the same time commit himself to Mancini and the future.

He does better PR than the rest of them because he really believes it. Not just a pro. He is a decent man.

yawn

Absolutely spot on PB - what a fucking crap thread on a night when Cook & the boards decision making was once again shown to be spot on, regardless of what the press & others with no involvement in the club tell us we're allowed to do!

Forward with Cook!

Forza Mancini!

If it was Cook that sacked Les then fair play to him but it was not
He was sacked by the owner of our club

Whoever it was, Hughes was sacked, and that is the important thing.

As I say, he may do a great job behind the scenes, I'd rather we got that polished PR performer you mention to do the PR stuff that Cook is so poor at.
