Mr. Cook, Bellers understands loyalty....you should try it.

He might do a good job behind the scenes (dunno because it's errr... behind the scenes) but as a public representative of the club he's an embarrassment.

Is he?

OK! Thank you for your input!
That press conference talking about when we contacted Mancini only to be contradicted by the man himself seconds later.

Cook: Liverpool contacted Mancini months ago... Manicini: Oh no they didn't.

Inducting Rosler into united's hall of fame.

Milan bottled it. Cookie then himself goes on to reveal in an interview in a broadsheet that Kaka's agent never took him seriously because they wanted to discuss wages when all Cookie wanted to talk about was how many trainers they could sell.

Every time the man opens his mouth to speak he immediately inserts one of his clown shoes into it.

Very difficult for Bellers to honor MH (let's not pretend that the last three wins were all because we have a new coach who looks good in a scarf), and at the same time commit himself to Mancini and the future.

He does better PR than the rest of them because he really believes it. Not just a pro. He is a decent man.
You have to separate personal loyalty from professional judgement. You can sack a man and still be a decent man. In fact if common belief is anything to go by you can kill men and be a hero.

Good for you Sweep, you're obviously a man in the know!

I'll stick to what I see before my eyes, rather than what the press tell me to believe, thanks all the same! I could dissect your above statements & show them to be crap that you've read in the paper & decided must be true, but I can't be arsed - you people never listen!

Cook IN!!!

But you can't argue Sweeps points because everything he says is spot on. Cook is an embarrassment and the sooner he's out of our club the better.

Yes I can, I'm just not going to because its pointless!

We won 2-0 on Saturday, & 3-0 tonight with a seriously depleted team, yet here's another thread about how badly done to poor old Mark Hughes was by that nasty man Garry Cook!

I'll take Cook's ruthless streak & the 6 points ta very much!

I'm not one little bit embarrassed of him - I was embarrassed of Peter Swales, & John Maddocks, Franny Lee & Alan Ball! Garry Cook is positively a breath of fresh air!

Now lets fuckin leave it shall we & pull together behind what could be the start of something fantastic!

For all the fuck ups Cook made in that press conference, as I recall he too honoured Hughes and committed himself to Mancini and the future.

USA, no offence mate, but why should we wallow in mediocrity?? I don't buy this Hughes needed more time stuff. I liked him, but I'd seen enough a long time ago to know he wasn't our man. 2 games are too early to judge any new manager completely, but they are also a bit of stretch to say that Hughes was responsible for the victories. Surely you could see a change in the collective mentality?
