A true understudy for Yaya. Physically he's got all the attributes and technically he's not far off. Probably not a popular view but for me he's a much better player than Nigel. He may not have the experience, but he's already much closer to being a complete player.

Early days of course but I've got very high hopes for him.

No your statement makes not sense at all, Rodwell a few times today beat a few players with some wonderful flashes of skill and got forward quite often. He shouldn't be the holding man imo we should play with a midfield three to give him more licence to get forward and let either Barry or Garcia be the anchor.

On Barry he is brilliant player but was found out in Europe which is why Mancini dropped him in the Napoli game he also had some below par performances is several away matches last year but he is an important player however he is not adventurous and also goes for the safe passes which is why we were after De Rossi to do those Scholes type crossfield passes.

Had a great game today, played brilliant. Very very unlucky to get booked..

I think he was good, but that side of his game to take the game by the scruff of the neck isn't there yet. Completely understandable, i think he's being cautious and keeping it simple and i have no problem with that.

Today QPR had far too much room in the centre, and found themselves cutting through the centre too easily. Rodwell is far from the finished article, but he's still maybe not cut out for the bigger and higher tempo games. that's just my opinion, he worked hard today and i'm surprised he didn't get subbed for when razak come on. He looked shattered, keep him fit and it's clear he's gonna be a star.

I disagree, Barry is much more subtle with his contributions often being overlooked. I suspect he had a part to play in the whole 'virgin mary' thing.
