Maybe,just maybe,that the article was discussing life in the City and they couldn`t find anything worthwhile to take the piss out of us,unlike the Rags who had three articles all taking the piss.Or maybe you didn`t understand the article as there were no fucking drawings for you !!!

Mrs Bow just asked me had I seen the latest video on the MEN of Peter Spencer. She said "why is the local paper having digs at City?" I explained that I don't bother with it anymore and haven't for a while (without going into detail with her) and she said "I won't be bothering either from now on!"

For the record, Mrs Bow is not from Manchester and is an Arsenal fan.

Not that any of this is important in the grand scheme of things of course, it just made me smile that a fresh pair of eyes is seeing some of what others have been going on about, completely unprompted.

Walk of shame: Sent-off Demichelis trudges away in home loss to Barcelona

Manchester City fans are paying over £200 for a question and answer session with Manuel Pellegrini – but will be banned from asking about Argentine flop Martin Demichelis.

Pellegrini will be guest of honour at a gala dinner on Thursday night to celebrate City’s Capital One Cup Final triumph.

Tickets start at £200 plus VAT and diners will be given the opportunity to ask Pellegrnini about his first season at Manchester's Blues.

But Sunday Mirror Sport has learned that City do not want their manager grilled about Demichelis.

The 33-year-old ­centre-back has been regarded as a big disappointment by many since Pellegrini convinced City to pay Atletico Madrid £4.2million for a player who had been available on a Bosman free from Malaga just two months earlier.

His high-profile mistakes have contributed to City being knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona and the FA Cup by Championship side Wigan.

And supporters cannot understand why Pellegrini continues to persist with a player who is on the slide.

The City boss will be joined by development squad boss Patrick Vieira and chief executive Ferran Soriano.

But questions about Demichelis are off the agenda.

The veteran defender was sent off for a foul on Lionel Messi that allowed the Barcelona striker to give his side the edge from the penalty spot in their Champions League visit to the Etihad last month.

And Demichelis blundered again last Sunday when he conceded another crucial penalty in the FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Wigan.

With all due respect. For £200 + VAT, I'd expect to pick the team, never mind ask a question about Demichelis.

To be honest I have never had any problem with the perceived bias but the standard and quality of reporting.

Writing an article about City not being able to sell out against Chelsea when it was sold out weeks in advance like 90 percent of home matches over the last few years.

The follow up article they failed to correctly spell the name of the stadium, even though it was emblazoned across the same page. Writing an article suggesting Navas could be competing to finish the premierships top scorer even though he managed one the previous season.
