A very sneaky ploy to generate click thru revenue, Stuart.

We really are not that desperate! Here's a link- not an MEN one, before you bother teacher - that shows we are 34 per cent up in online readership. I really would not waste my time just to get a few dozen clicks on Blue moon.

I AM wasting my time coming on here, it is true, but as I said I feel that lies and inaccuracies, wherever they crop up, need to be challenged.

Cor, and now you're dissing BM saying it's a waste of time!

Agreed, that's why we challenge the tripe your rag comic spews forth on regular occasions, your work here is irrelevant, now toddle off and write something nice about Cleverley, he needs you more than we do..!

martin samuels never has to come on here to make an apology, perhaps that`s because he has researchers who like him are competent. and he doesn`t try to defend incompetent colleagues. it`s a shame the newspaper industry is full of sensationalist top skimmers.

i`ve read the evening news longer than stuart brennan been a reporter and notice the change over the years from reporting fact to stating opinion dressed up as facts with no substance.

what a shame for a once great read. perhaps the reducing readership has caused panic and a change to sensationalism in an attempt try to win back readers but has led to lack of quality to prevail.

Does it still have Mr Manchester's diary and report on where Nigel Pavarro was last seen pissed up ?

Proper whiff of Raggy arrogance from the M.E.N. journo.

Don't buy, dont click. Let them focus on their true customers, not us.

I agree that Martin is an excellent writer. Wait until he writes his next piece about City that is even marginally critical, and the loons on here will be slagging him again! I think it might come as news to him that he has "researchers".

By the way any instances of us "stating opinion dressed up as facts with no substance"?
