No, you're not all paranoid. There are plenty of people on the forum who don't think the MEN is biased, and many, many more who don't go on forums at all who also don't think so. I think forums engender this kind of view, as ridiculous lies get posted, and pass into fact without being challenged - that is why I come on here every now and then. I don't mind being criticised, and I don't mind the MEN being criticised, but when people make stuff up to back up their arguments, it pisses me off.
The bottom line, whether you like it or not, is that if you feel the MEN is biased one way or the other, you are wrong, and paranoid, to a greater or lesser extent.
Can you explain to me, as no-one has yet done, why there are so many United fans who think we are biased against United?

Ask Chris about the lengths we go to on he desk to try to ensure parity of coverage between the papers. He was deputy sports editor, and knows that we used to ensure balance as much as possible. The sports editor even had a little black book in his desk in which he would record the column inches devoted to each club, and he made sure it balanced up at the end of each week.
You would get fans of both clubs ringing up moaning that "You do loads more on Utd/City than you do on City/Utd" and he would quote the figures.
As I keep saying, people only see what they want to see, and if it doesn't fit their agenda, they dismiss it from their minds.

I'm at a bit of a loss here. How do you "know" the paper is biased, when you don't read it? Osmosis, telepathy or are you, in fact, God? Come on de niro, you're not making any sense.
You keep blathering out bland statements but have offered NO evidence. And you have offered no explanation of WHY it would pay us to be biased.
