I think the only way to resolve this issue is by sporting encounter.
You muffin weirdos pick a sport, assemble a team and take on the barmy army.
Be prepared for total humiliation.
Bring it on,you m----n eating jessies!
And please don't pick rounders,(sorry, baseball),or any other yank non-sport.

I think the opposing factions need to elect a leader to represent them and see if we cant get some sort of bare knuckle fight to the death at half time in the Bolton game to finally resolve this ! (I cant represent the Barmy Army by the way as I have a wicklow at the moment !)

I volunteer to hold the shirt and towel of the barm representative :-)

haha am in school and am eating a chip barm

School is the right place for you if you can't recognise a chip muffin. I'm sure they'll teach you if you pay attention in food technology.

chip BARM in manchester we say.

muffin people. thats chocolate chip muffins!

I was educated in such matters at the the "City Chippy" just down from Maine Road in the 80's, and asking for a chip muffin would have been a red card offence in there ... it's chip barm, all day.

I've never understood this thread, people actually call a barm a muffin? Thats fucking retarded, a "chip muffin" has chocolate chips in it..

now correct me if i am wrong, but in my award compact dictionary a 'barm' is described as follows - (noun) 'froth of bear used for leaven; yeast'.

whereas the muffin is described as follows - (noun) 'soft, spongy cake for putting chips and tomato ketchup into'.

maybe im being slow here but after 3 millionposts did not one of you think to check the word bible.

its a muffin you mules!
