Never heard anyone ask for a chip muffin!!!

Ask you for a chip barm round here and the Chinese would run in the back pissin themselves at the loon in the shop,its a chip muffin for godsake.

The only time I use the words 'chip muffin' is when I'm asking for a 'chocolate chip muffin'

My family live in the Tameside area and they all say barm so either your telling porkies or Tameside is divided
