I think I already mentioned this years ago on this thread; from the late 70s through to the mid 80s, someone had graffitied ‘chip barm’ in yellow paint on the brick wall of the real Old Trafford, by the Warwick Road entrance. It never failed to amuse me and my dad when we went to the cricket. It disappeared when the ground was redeveloped and that wall came down.Think I use both terms actually but never “chip barm”.
