It probably is. Wenger is big on it as well. It doesn't always work.
The advantage Bayern, Barca and Dortmund have is that so many of their players join the club as children. It gives the club the opportunity to raise them as human beings as well as footballers.
Muller fits the mould. Clean cut boy with a fantastic work ethic who genuinely loves the club as much as any fan would.
Biggest disappointment after more than 15 years of Wenger is that we don't have a conveyor belt of local talent. Most other PL clubs are even worse.
