I'm 61 but cannot remember when and why the munich chants started at city, which no longer happen thankfully, considering frank swift also died in the tragedy. Anyone older shed light on this please.

not really here
Fans will use and do anything to attack each other. City get pictures of starving children next to the photos of us winning the title. (sorry that's reporters doing that! )

Liam Whelan grew up near where I live, his family have been invited frequently over the years to Old Trafford as guests. Bobby Charlton and Alex Ferguson came over when a local bridge was renamed after him. It would be a bit cynical to say that was just using the event to win fans.

I'm Sure it wasn't City fans who started the Munich song. I think it may of been Bolton or Liverpool fans.
