Munich Deal - best yet and booked

I've found some alright flights if you go a little earlier, come back a little later etc. However, the hotel costs are stupid and anything you save on flights you more than lose on hotels. I'm sure something will come up.

anyone else booked into this place?
they want you to transfer money into their account as payment?

does that seem a little dodgy to anyone?

does anyone know how regular the trains are from munich to salzburg. our flight is 11am wednesday. need to know if we can get a train from munich to salzburg wednesday morning to get there in time for that flight

check out <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bahn.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.bahn.com</a>, you can see all the trains on there in English

there are trains at 05:52, 06:39, 07:27 and 08:27.

The 07:27 and 08:27 are faster, take an hour and half €19 one way.

Well I guess the lesson here is snooze you lose - sent a text to my husband this morning with these details on, time he's got back to me they are now over a grand.

Should have just booked them, could always have sold them on

Ho hum

Guys, use <a class="postlink" href="http://www.opodo.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.opodo.co.uk</a> to book your Munich flights.

Basically it's 230 quid, as of 9pm 26th August, for Singapore Airlines.

Out 9.10AM on Tuesday, back 6.35AM on Wednesday. Say's there are only 6 seats left on the outbound.

munich beer festival is on when we are there! fantastic!!!

I might struggle to get tickets on 4900 points though :(

Can still get flights for £200 which isn't too bad I guess.

BUT as the game approaches, surely we will see something from Etihad? Or the club in general?

You can get a group ticket (Bayern Bavaria) for up to 5 people for €29. Use it on the Regional trains. Takes about 90 mins

Think Thomas Cook will still be our provider

Re the Singapore Airlines flight, while there's no chance of bagging it for £185 now, I've kept my eye on it and the prices have been fluctuating on various sites. I did a fresh search about an hour ago when I woke up and found the following:

Opodo - £264
Singapore Airlines own website - £260
Lastminute.com - £251

This is back in my ballpark so I've taken the plunge and finally booked it through Lastminute.com. I'm not sure how many spaces are left at the above prices but I thought I'd post the latest situation for anyone still considering booking on this flight.
