Augustiner is a great biergarten just be careful on the Edelstoff, stronger than the normal Augustiner that they sell there!
Good chance of the weather being shitty this time of year though, and probably will be very quiet as the locals will be at the fest!
You can get to the Oktberfest in about 10mins walk from there, come out of the Augustiner and cross the bridge.
There will be no problem getting in tents at that time, and later in the afternoon they will be rocking!
The HB tent has a unreserved standing area in the centre of it as well.
It's well worth seeing if your only here for the day!
Other than that, loads of bierkellers, Lowenbraukeller, Knockerberg, HBhaus, HBkeller etc and loads of good pubs augustiner am dom and andechs am dom are next to kilians in Marinplatz.
Well be great to see loads of blues in town anyway!

I should avoid the Nockherberg, get on the Salvator all day and you'll not only miss the match but forget why the hell you are there in the first place.
Likewise Andechser, you have to graduate to Andechser bier. Otherwise it's like your first car being a Porsche turbo, you're bound to crash.

German bookies current CL odds on Bayern or City to win the cup outright joint 5th at 12/1.
Villareal and Napoli joint 20th at 75/1.
 
So what do you guys reckon, go to the Oktoerfest first thing to experience it and then the Augustine Keller around 4pm before going to the match, or the other way round? Ive told our lads the Oktoberfet is a must even if it's just for a few hours to experience it.

I reckon stick to the original plan have a couple in the Augustiner Keller and then head to the tents(I'm definitely up for experiencing the Oktoberfest)


Now city just need five wins until we go!
