Because it's pathetic and he is nothing to do with us.I don't have a problem with dropping the Munich chants for obvious reasons, but dropping the Jaap Stam part, why?
Well it's daft :-)Jap Staam been sung for as long as I know.
You will never ever stop blues singing about them just like they do about us.

Ha ha haBecause it's pathetic and he is nothing to do with us.
It's actually a back handed compliment, why would we do that?
He's harder than Dave Watson, Gerry Gow, or Andy Morrison etc would be more fitting, even though it wouldn't rhyme.
Isn’t having a go at you love, but when I read people have been arrested for “tragedy chanting” it does make me shake my head. It’s all very Merseyside.I know but I couldn't think of another term to use as that is the one the authorities use. I just don't want the club or any supporters getting into trouble for it.
Apart from the fact that as I said I hate that chant and always have done. Sorry @SWP's back. :-)
They have no business telling people what they can and cant sing.
Just had a quick search. People dismissing this might want to think again. If there in our ground singing it and someone reports them they’ll be banned also the premier can fine the club for chants like this
Now let's not be silly.:-)He's harder than Phil's mam.
Yep,Perhaps i'm not up to speed here but can't you be prosecuted for singing it? It falls under public order offence if I recall.
Fuck me all of us of a certain age would have been banned for life at Maine RoadJust had a quick search. People dismissing this might want to think again.
