Musical Guilty Pleasures

I've always found the phrase "guilty pleasures" a bit strange. Musical taste is a very personal thing & just because other people & music critics don't declare something to be "cool", it doesn't make it an invalid piece of music.

We had this thread 10 years ago, at the time I said ABBA bit now they are axcepted as a great band.

It's a curious thing - frequently my musical "guilty pleasures" leads me to listen to more songs by the artist - and they subsequently become one of my favorites.

I'm into heavy rock/blues and prog rock...All pop is shite to me..I just like them tunes.
