Must see documentaries..

Just started watching on Netflix, attack on London it's called
Like you say doesn't seem 20 years ago,was playing golf with my dad when it happened, absolutely terrifying at the time.
There’s a few what with it being the 20th anniversary. BBC have a four part on too.

Netflix also have one about a cruise liner that fucks up and thousands of folks’ sewage makes a very unwelcome appearance. Worth a watch.

Fuck cruises.

This is a BBC documentary from the late 60s about an aspiring pop group called Mike Stuart Span. It's a bit Spinal Tap LMAO

Dive into the true story behind world-famous daredevil and American icon, Evel Knievel, whose name remains synonymous to this day with the unbelievable death-defying lifestyle he led. A bold symbol of his times and a sports innovator, this meticulously researched and savvy documentary examines the career and legacy of a larger-than-life hero. Produced by and featuring Jackass star, Johnny Knoxville.

I know some people love them but they look like my idea of hell.

I can’t stand shows, the bedrooms look pokey and going on excursions just doesn’t appeal to me at all. My wife’s friend sent a pic of her on the deck surrounded by hundreds of people crammed close together. It just looks utterly shit to me.

I sometimes go to Butte Montana where he grew up, it’s the craziest, roughest place I’ve ever been to.
Years ago he was at some arena doing a jump and a bunch of Hells Angels were there. They were giving him some shit from the bleachers, he didn’t hesitate, jumped right in amongst them punching anyone dumb enough to stand there.

There are claims now he didn’t do it and someone else in the squad did, there’s a hell of a lot of SF guys on you tube these days talking about stuff, I’m sure after the Andy McNab stuff they all had to sign NDAs in the UK.

New Adam Curtis series
Have you watched this?

I'm just catching up on 'Can't get you out of my head' (first Curtis films I'v watched since Hypernormalisation.

They're a well crafted, eye opening if depressing watch!
Soundtrack is almost pretty much perfect too.

Mostly about Salford / north west OCGs
Corrupt Interpol cops, torture chambers

Watching this now. Clever shit, although the catalogue model actor is doing my head in.

Great documentary on Sky about the life of Raquel Welch. Christ that woman was fit fit fit. You really get the vibe and the horn. She was a far better actress than she was given credit for (100 Rifles, The 3 Musketeers)

Death of Yugoslavia is on iPlayer again
Superb stuff
Agree . I'm currently reading Black Lamb Grey Falcon by Rebecca West , a masterpiece exploring the pre WW2 Yugoslavia and it's dense and complex history .
