The Boy With The Incredible Brain

Very often i am left non the wiser with these types of docu as to the legitimacy of the claims. This one is different and in the most spectacular way imo.

This chap can do all the stuff other savants do but probably better if he even tried a little. He passes all the tests with flying colours but the best thing is how he does it. You often want to think there is someone who sees stuff in a totally different way to us; for example the prof in x-men when he sees everyone who is mutant in some 4th dimension type landscape or something, this chap does just that!

Just watched this and was amazed. Makes you think what could be possible if the brain was fully understood.

Up half the night watching and rewatching. The concert footage is explosive. Another Scorsese masterpiece.

Just watched this. Great stuff. I find Dylan so compelling and that was surely his peak as a live performer.
A lot of the doc was filled by a lot of nonsense poets and stone heads talking shite !
Nevertheless, great stuff and a truly unique artist

Dumb question mate but whats it called? - think I posted earlier in this thread but the Ken Burns doc on Vietnam is amazing
The War mate I’m on episode 3 now, learning helluva lot of stuff I never knew especially about the campaign in the Pacific, the Japs were ruthless but by fuck worse than I thought.

Timeshift. On IPlayer now

It’s about a WW2 double agent named Eddie Chapman aka ‘Fritz’ aka ‘agent zigzag’ - it’s very good

Get yourself a book called The Forgotten Highlander by Alistair Urquhart. It's about his time as a Japanese POW and how he and other POW's built the Burma Railway. What a book!
