Watched A BBC documentary on Russian Nazi's with the excellent Reggie Yates, what a backwards, racist country Russia is.

If you have the patience CNN (I think) did a 20-odd episode documentary on the Cold War that was brilliant, narrated by Kenneth Brannagh.

That documentary is the one of the most informative ive seen, its excellent, also how it has people like mikhail gorbachev and ex-US and Russian cabinet ministers a great watch, hooked through the entire series

Searching through my android box last night for new stuff to watch and came across The Last Days in Vietnam. Its a new documentary film about the evacuation of Saigon as told by the septic tanks who were the decision makers and the grunts on the ground, as well as Vietnamese people who were desperate to get out. Real time footage, great talking heads and interesting analysis. Really good watch.

Just watched a 2 part doc' on Discovery called 'The Vietnam War'. Not very in=depth, and possibly even a little US propagandaist, but still captures the horror, futility and downright sadness of that particular war.

If its one im thinking off its 6 part called "Vietnam war in HD" its brilliant, also try 10000 day war Vietnam battling the French in 1945 right through to fall of Saigon in 1975, also a 12 part CBS documentary with Walter Cronkite, all good wtuff and not biased, BBC did one a while ago inc the riots in Washington and Kent state university, America was in turmoil through whole of 60s, Civil rights, Assassinations, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam War, some great stuff out there.
