I'll always remember his celebrations at Charlton after scoring the goals that brought us back from 2 down with about 15 mins left.

In an autograph session after training at Carrington MVF was genuinely happy to be there and interact with us with his smile that warmed the soul. A lovely human being and what a player he was and what a difference he made to us for all too brief a time. Happy memories.
