So sorry for your loss Blue. Love sent you you and all your family. He's gone to the big Maine Road in the sky.

Deepest condolences to you and all your family.
Having had a mother who died with dementia, the latter years must have been tough for you all, which doesn't lessen the grief of passing for you, but your Dad is no longer suffering and will live long in your memories.

My Dad sadly passed away peacefully yesterday morning, after a long battle with dementia. He was a kind, warm-hearted man with a sharp intellect and wry sense of humour. He couldn’t have been a more loving Dad, and later Grandad. He introduced me to the music of Dylan, Springsteen and Joni Mitchell, the films of Woody Allen and, of course, the football of Manchester City, for which I’ll always be grateful. Rest easy Dad, we will all miss you very much x
I never met your dad pal, but i know he brought up a decent son.

Celebrate his life, remember him always and be thankful for him guiding you to be the person you are today.

take care mate, thoughts are with you x

clearly, the apple did not fall far from the tree - may it pass quickly
