My Email from Brian Woolnough

he's just replied now with this:

''None of you get the point. The England team is in a mess and we need new young talent for the future. If City or any club keeps buying foreign players that is not going to happen''

What a knobcheese... he is constantly dodging the main issue here which is him making it sound like City are the only club buying foreign players and are thus destroying England or something... what a tosser.

Just ask him what it was about the £250k a year and 60 per cent pay rise he got from Express Newspapers, that convinced him to leave The Sun (the biggest circulated red top)

For the piss pot Daily Star (after the Daily Sport) the lowest circulated red top.

The same cheque-book journalism perhaps, that also convinced TV critic Garry Bushell to do likewise?

Richard Desmond= porn money.

That should do it...good look with that reply.

What a prick - he's just using our name to get a sensationalist reaction.
If we get Milner, we could field Hart, Lescott, Milner and Adam Johnson in the starting line up next season - more 'future England regulars' than any of the so called top 4 teams.

woolnough once wrote, alan ball didn't get the big managerial job he deserved.

who gives these fools a platform.

Like many on here I too have stopped reading the Newspapers and rely only on this Forum, SSN and the BBC for my information. The decline in the standards of Sports Journalism in recent years has been alarming - however even causing more concern is how out of touch with your average Football Fan these Journalists actually are.

Earlier in the Season we had a " Worthy" Bluemoon thread with page after page after page of City Fans giving their best wishes and hopes for the survival of Portsmouth on the day when they really went to the Wire. What did we get a couple of days later on " Sunday Supplement" ? Mick Dennis of the "Daily Whatever" glibly saying that Portsmouth should be stuck in the Third Division. The topic probably switched after that to the far more important weekly debate of whether Becks should be going to South Africa.

Please just stop buying the Papers.

Of course it applies to all clubs and England's awful showing at the World Cup has highlighted the problem. City are topical because of the money they have spent on foreign players. Keep reading and watching and, of course, there will be praise for City. It doesn't stop me being worried about the future of the English team.

That twat has made a career out of 'being worried about the future of the English team'. Perhaps we'd have had more to shout about if gutter journalists like him hadn't hounded Bobby Robson out of the England job.

Well done Liam, one of the reasons our press is so shite is because people cant be bothered making a stand !

Just sent another Email to our friend after City had 6 players on the pitch last night in the England game.

6 City players on the pitch for England last night... dear oh dear it's a good job that you obviously like food, because that is a lot of humble pie you will have to eat.

Cannot wait for your next story that ends up like eggs in your face.
