Yes they are, no ear ache when you arrive home from a three o clock kick off on a saturday at 11:30pm Sunday not knowing where you ended up, no hassle about nipping down the pub for a swift pint (or twelve), and as long as you organise things correctly (like a blank weekend), great sex for a full weekend every month or two, and all your washing, ironing and meals cooked for a while (she cooks them when she is down, freeze them and then just pop them in the microwave), sounds perfect to me :-)

Ther are several cons. But they're mainly dueto not seeing eachother, which, for now, I can take. Just.

The only way i would be comfortable with this would be if they were related..... even then considering his football preferance i still wouldn't be at much ease i suggest you lick her out as soon as you see her to make sure he hasn't had a crack.

Met my Mrs in Benidorm in 1987, did the long distance stuff ( Cardiff - Falkirk) for about 18 months and then moved up there.
Travelled up every 2nd weekend ( or mostly when City were away, she didn't pick up on that) and we're still together now.
Only bit of advice i'd give you is...........run now ffs :)
Oh ........i wouldn't have trusted my mates to pick her up that's for sure lol
