My new dog

Heart warming pictures, well done they‘re a credit to you. It’s great to see how the two of them have become best mates just like my two. I think having another dog really helps a lot with most rescues.

We are currently in the position of trying to suss out whats the best way to go about getting our 1st family dog...looking at getting a staffy as the Mrs has had one previously when she lived with her parents and it's there temperament that we what we would be looking for around the kids...looked down the route of rescue as the price of pups at the min is on another level but the staffs in rescue are unfortunately at an age that ain't in there favour for re homing...so if anyone knows of anyone selling staff pups that ain't a 3rd world debt or a staffy that needs re homing I'd be more than open to a dm

We are now 8 weeks in and took Bess on her first camping trip. Bess and Blue are just great mates and Bess has settled, beautifully.

Brilliant mate, we've just adopted a ten year old cat. Not much known about her history, they think her owners where killed in house fire, she survived and stayed in ruined house. Don't even know her name so she's got phoenix as came out of the flames. When we got her rescue centre and foster people said probably be shy for few days and hide. I stayed up with her to 5 in morning and she slept on my lap. It's like been here forever now

This is a really difficult one. The price of puppies is what has created the puppy farms but there is great difficulty in rescuing unless you can, and are willing to, accept an older dog. The rescue centres are very stringent in their demands but it is worth it. Good luck.
