A lot of money was printed during covid and the common man has to repay it.

And in terms of the UK, we are simply a broken country trying to live beyond it's means.

There are a lot of people out there doing just that, a race to the bottom as they say....

Pure greed. Government, companies and employers will all use every excuse possible to maximise profits. People get used to prices after a while and stop complaining, this county is essentially a third world country now.

Trouble is when inflation does start to drop, will we see the prices of goods, food and services fall in reflection of that? I very much doubt it, they now know we will pay at the price it is now so why sell it cheaper?

It’s the same with City and ticket prices. City don’t give a shit about proper local City fans who can’t afford it, they just know there are people - City fans or not (as many aren’t these days at the Etihad, many are just people on a day out) - who will pay it. So why will they ever drop the prices?

They won’t because ultimately they know people will pay it. Ten years ago we were paying £30-£40 quid for a single match ticket to watch City. Will probably north of £100 in another decade.

You wont see prices fall unless we get some serious deflation.
The government bang on about ‘halving inflation’ this year as some great feat but that just means prices going up by 5.5% instead of 11%. Food prices going up by 8% instead of 16% and they’ll try and convince you you’re better off…….
And that a 3/4% pay rise is enough!
