My YouTube channel - Episode 47 (P25)

Another late Victorian Triggers broom bridge I see? If you ran across these walking bridges would that be an offence?

5 mins 55 in and I can see that graffiti artists in the colonies can be just as obvious as the ones over here ;-) The side of the bridge on the still photo was shredded and the B&W photo was just like the creamery bridge one.

What an unbelievable place to live overlooking that waterfall, looks like the scene where Rambo blows the Vietnamese up with an explosive arrow.

!3:21 in it looks like there is a little clam pool to sit in just off the bank of the torrent, I wonder if people use it for that?

The king of the obvious, regarding Manchester mate ;-) but a nice touch none the less.

Personal taste I prefer Eric Sloanes painting of the bridge out of the many other very good paintings.

It’s funny you mention Triggers Broom, the amount of times I’ve wanted to say that but just know that it would fall flat on the Yankee heads watching.
Going out tomorrow to film 6 more bridges and also 2 on Thursday (as passing nearby on a work trip) which will take me to 46 completed.
One of the bridges hasn’t been a bridge since 1947 - but it is still on the list of the 100……..

Sorry for missing that point. I don't forensically pore over every one of your videos. I try to catch up on them when I get the time.
Well seeing as you haven't watched the first one yet Jim, your going to need a few weeks, maybe something to do on those cold rainy winter days or if you ever need bed rest :)

Here you go @mexico1970
Fill yer boots

Was it named the lower bridge before the bridge lower down the river was built? Was it Arthur Adams full time job? He appears to have built a fair few bridges.

Takes me about 3 weeks to finish a 1/35 Airfix kit from start to finish :)

Look forward to seeing those historic still photos it's a signature of these cracking videos now.

Great to see the waders making a welcome come back, that bridge wasn't silly it's quite a remarkable bridge.

Yes the waders have made a comeback due to the tall vegetation but also on some upcoming episodes due to mud and very rocky rivers that are too much for the beach sandals!
I’ve just filmed at 8 bridges last week and 5 of them were built by Nichols Powers, who also built some in New York State too.

Episode 39 i finally fail to go under a bridge……..

You should be as tanned as fuck by now, I go brown very easily in the sun just standing by a window is enough to kick my melanin in :)

What's the name of your channel?

Some drone shots of the bridges and the surroundings would be lovely.
I bought a drone just as I started the series last September.
The YouTube advert looked great……
It arrived and off I set it and it had a mind of its own. I managed to work out the basics but on the whole it just went where it wanted to go. No way was I sending it up over a river to just fuck off and end up sailing away down a tributary of the Connecticut River…..
It’s been in the box ever since
