Name a Rush tune.

Well, Yes weren't very good at the friendship thing :)
Read a recent interview with Wakeman the other day in latest Classic Rock mag and I quote: "...I am having lunch with Steve [Howe] in a couple of weeks. That everybody hates each other is a complete myth. There's a lot of mutual respect between us all."

For me it’s The Yes Album to GFTO.
90125 was decent as was Talk, Tormato and The Ladder.
The last two albums have been cringeworthy.
My favourite three are GFTO, Fragile and Relayer in that order.
Only my humble opinion though.
I do love Rush too 2112 to Moving Pictures especially.

Not going to count Yes albums but there's more than 5 that I like a lot. They can't match Rush for consistency or sustained level of quality over the decades but the current version of Yes is rather missing some key players.

No that would be the one in the 70's my wife to be went to. I mean in the 90's, which my wife and I did go to.
Old bands are very retro and niche the last few decades so no supprise in the 90s they got a better reception than the era we were discussing when they were at their peak, but poorly recieved.

Anyway I don't like to speak oll of the dead so phil collins talk is off the table :-)

No doubt Neil Peart was a good drummer but he looked like he lacked charisma when banging away on his fuck off 'Top Trumps' like kit.

I believe Rush are looking for another drummer and i can think of a drummer who could more than do a job in the band.

The BBCs very own Owain Wyn Evans has proven he already has the stamina and he looks a lot better turned out than Peart ever did.

And before all you crusty Rush fans give it the Bum's Rush, have a listen to a top drummer in action.

I agree with you there and that has been the single most frustrating aspect of being a long term Yes fan.
All the line up changes have not helped either in some cases.

No doubt there will be plenty of Tofu, Lentils and jokes about farting.
What I would love to hear would be
“ Can you and Jon please return for one last hurrah- one last tour and record to honour our dear Chris Squire. Please tell Jon though no lyrics about his wife Jayneeeeee or the pixies at the bottom of his garden”
We can hope :-)
