Got deported from tenerife 20 odd years ago, made an airaplane out of my boarding card, at pasport control the guy at the passport office started to shout at me so i flicked the peak on his cap, he tore my passport in half we had a scuffle and next thing i know, I am wearing handcuffs being escorted back onto the plane, the very plane on which I had arrived. Gets on the fully loaded plane with everyone looking down the plane at me. 10 inms into the flight and a guy asks me why had i been deported, I asked him how did he know that , he said the captain had announced that they were going to be delayed 10 mins whlst a deportee was being escorted to the plane.

Years ago, I met Roy Harper in a Thai Restaurant before his gig at The Mean Fiddler. I can't remember where it was now, but it was in London. We walked down to the venue: he and I, and his entourage. We all walked in, apart from Roy. Security wouldn't let him in!
